TMMS: Please introduce yourself.
AY: My name is Andrew Yiangou, I am a concert pianist from London. I studied at the Royal College of Music for 7 years where I completed my Bachelors, Masters and Artist Diploma. Whether I am teaching or performing, I love to spread my love and passion for classical music with others and hopefully enrich peoples lives through the power of classical music.
TMMS: What is your favourite repertoire?
AY: I don’t have a favourite repertoire, I love every composer and every period of music!
TMMS: What are your dreams and plans in music?
AY: To continue to spread my love for classical music through teaching and performing.
TMMS: What do you like about TMMS?
AY: TMMS provides a fantastic community in the heart of West Ealing for anybody to come, learn and enjoy music!
TMMS: As a teacher, could you give any advice to people who study / or who would like to learn your instrument?
AY: Work hard, practice every day. Even if it’s just for a very short amount of time, but as long as it is continuous. Music is like learning a new language – if you do not practice your language very often you will forget it and not continue to grow!
TMMS: What do you like about UK?
AY: The endless opportunities available to constantly grow and enrich your life!
