TMMS: Please introduce yourself.
AC: I am Alban Claret, born in France in 1987, I started to play Jazz guitar at the age of 18 and always had the ambition to become a performer since the beginning.
TMMS: What is your favourite repertoire and what are your dreams and plans in music?
AC: My favourite repertoire in Jazz is between bebop and hardbop, I am going towards composing my own repertoire in that style and my plan would be to get more established and record everything I compose to present it during my gigs.
TMMS: What do you like about TMMS?
AC: TMMS is a great school, with great members and a very hard working administrator that makes the teaching easier for me.
TMMS: As a teacher, could you give any advice to people who study / or who would like to learn your instrument
AC: The advice I could give is to learn what you like in music, it would be the best way to practise more and don’t give up through time.
TMMS: What do you like about UK?
AC: Nothing, in particular, I’m just travelling from countries to countries, I was in the Netherlands before and will be somewhere else in the further future. But don’t get me wrong the U.K. is a fantastic country to live in!
TMMS: Thank you!
