Jade Kong

Bio

Jade Kong is an energetic, vibrant and versatile violinist/violist and has graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Music Degree. Born and raised in London, she began learning the violin at the age of 5.

Since the age of 7, Jade has been involved with the Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT), playing in orchestras such as the Bromley Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Bromley Youth Chamber Orchestra. She toured around countries such as Germany, France, Spain, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia and Italy. As part of BYMT, Jade was a part of the solo quartet in Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro. She also was involved with a string Sextet called Sixtus, who in 2017 won the Beckenham Festival – Ensemble category.

While she was studying, Jade was a member of University Philharmonia and University Sinfonia and many chamber groups.
