Azalia Holman

Bio

Azalia Holman’s journey with music began during her university years in Russia, where she discovered a deep passion for the piano. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Concertmaster and Piano Teaching, which laid the foundation for a lifelong dedication to both performance and education.

In 2003, Azalia moved to the UK with her daughter, bringing with her a love for music and a desire to share it with others. By 2010, she began teaching piano professionally and has since had the privilege of working with many wonderful students of all ages and skill levels.

For Azalia, teaching piano is more than a profession — it is a true calling. She finds immense joy in helping students grow, not just musically but also personally, as they develop confidence, discipline, and creative expression. Watching their transformation through music is the most rewarding part of her work.

Each year, Azalia organises seasonal concerts where students perform pieces they’ve worked hard to master. These events are more than recitals; they are celebrations of progress, dedication, and community. All proceeds from the concerts are donated to Crisis Charity — an organisation close to Azalia’s heart — as a way of giving back and teaching students the importance of compassion through their art.

Azalia looks forward to continuing this journey with each of her students, nurturing their musical talents and supporting their individual paths with encouragement, patience, and care.
