Adriano Balducci Moncada

Bio

Adriano Balducci Moncada is an Italian London based guitarist and composer.

Adriano graduated with a degree in Popular Music from BIMM London in 2018, under the mentorship of highly accomplished musicians such as Femi Temowo, John Wheatcroft, Andrew McKinney, Al Cherry.

After a gap year full of intense live music-making activity, Adriano started a Master in Jazz at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he graduated in 2021.

Adriano’s compositional approach is rooted in the jazz tradition and embraces elements from the pop/rock world.

Adriano remains inspired by Radiohead, Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, and Led Zeppelin, whose music shaped his artistic personality throughout his career.

Being an active member of the London jazz scene, he performed with the contemporary jazz band Hopscotch and other artists at Pizza Express Soho, Vortex Jazz Club, Kansas Smitty’s, Hampstead Jazz Club, to name a few.
