A fantastic start into piano journey for children beginners- a unique course that combines intense learning with fun and provides an excellent musical experience.

Suitable for students who successfully completed our Child Beginner Piano Course level 2.

Course goals

After completing all 4 levels of Beginner Piano course a student will:

Be able to play 20 simple songs
Be ready to start preparing for ABRSM or Trinity Grade 1
Be aware of the correct posture on the piano
Understand the fundamentals of reading musical notation
Be able to write down all the notes played
Know the basic time values and how to apply them in playing
Be ready to identify 20 notes both on the keyboard and in writing
Understand the basics of articulation and hand positioning on the keyboard

The above listed course goals apply to a scenario where each 30mins lesson is supported by at least 6x20mins practise sessions at home according to the teacher’s instructions. After each lesson a student is assigned a homework which consists of:

Songs/exercises/pieces to be practised daily
Theory workbook exercises

Hands together playing- coordination
Coordination exercises
Some of the right hand notes in the left hand and vice versa
Hand position shifting

G- major Key signature
F- major key signature
A,BC- 3 new notes on the right hand
