What does TMMS do?

TMMS is a specialist music school offering comprehensive music education to students of all ages and levels of proficiency. We strongly emphasise creating a professional setup where students learn from highly qualified professionals who bring their performance experience into the teaching environment.

As our tuition consists of more than just weekly lessons, we have the following elements in place to ensure the efficiency of the teaching/learning process:

  • Three concerts per year available for all students
  • Three termly reports provided for each Student
  • End of year certificates offered for each Student
  • Awards for the best students
  • Scholarship opportunities for talented individuals (subject to application)
  • Participation in local and national festivals

What jobs are available?

As we keep expanding we are usually looking to work in 3 types of setup:

  • Teaching from out premises in West Ealing
  • Online Teaching
  • Home Visit Tuition

As our tuition consists of more than just weekly lessons, we have the following elements in place to ensure the efficiency of the teaching/learning process:

  • individual teaching
  • issuing termly reports
  • preparing candidates for internal concerts
  • preparing candidates for external exams
  • preparing candidates for festivals and competitions
  • regular communication with Artistic Director

How Do I apply?

We will initially ask you to fill in the form consisting of 3 parts as described below

Part 1. (Required)

We need to collect basic information about you and your qualifications (required)

Please be ready to provide us with: name, surname, email, phone, postcode, instrument taught, level of qualification

Part 2. (Required)

We need you to attach your CV to the application form (required)

We need your CV to be in PDF or .doc format and outline your experience teaching so far

Part 3. (Optional)

You can submit a video instead of attending an interview to speed up the process

Should you wish to speed up the decision process, please record a video of maximum 2 minutes lenght answering the following question.

What 3 elements of your teaching method are most important and why

If for any reason you don’t feel comfortable recording a video, we will arrange a zoom/in person interview with you should we decide to take your application to that stage

What happens next?

You will receive a notification confirming your application has been received

This means your details will be stored on file

We will store your application until we need to recruit for a position you applied for

As we cannot predict the demand for particular lesson times we cannot advise on timescales for this. Rest assured your application is with us and will be considered when the opportunity arises

We will make a decision when we are recruiting for a position you applied for

Depending on our decision, your application may be:

  • Successful
  • You may be offered a place on our cover teachers list
  • Unsuccessful
